FIRE HYDRANT SYSTEM IN COIMBATORE Fire Hydrant System is used to protect the whole premise from fire. Wet riser, Down comer, Dry riser hydrant system are the types used in accordance with the site. Sprinkler systems are also mostly used in Hydrant projects. In this system we have three pumps. Jockey pump that activates at first when there is a pressure drop in the pipeline system. Master pump is activated when there is a huge pressure drop that can’t be maintained by the jockey pump. Diesel engine is activated when there is no power supply. Deluge valve hydrant system is used in high hazard areas. Applied at all commercial premises where fire protection services is to be provided.
